Tbh with the roads as they were in Maryland, if the backroads were sketch, and he sent you back on the same road riding opposite direction of the traffic, on the shoulder… he coulda just offered to drive behind you and keep people from hitting you

1 mile forward to next exit, 5 miles back to previous entrance... You need to turn around, it isnt safe on the highway... Risks 5 miles back instead of 1 mile forward while the cop could be trailing him ..
