I'm currently learning Korean as a german and I have the exact opposite problem: The words are so short and therefore similar that they all sound the same and Korean makes so few distinguishes that I get confused about the context...language learning life be hard

Oh I felt this deep in my soul. I made the mistake of learning both French and German at the same time in High School. The pain is real. My brain couldn't handle adding two more languages on top of the two I already knew (English and Viet).

So naturally, I learned Japanese and Swedish during college. XD
