Came here because I'm trying to DIY a fluted and concrete-look coffee table 😅 I just love you, your instructions were so entertaining 😆 question... would you have a suggestion on how to seal the top if I don't want to use glass?

Looks great! I want to make but I'm wondering, is this moisture resistant long-term? If you take wet rags to wipe it off everyday, will that cause the plaster to powder/flake off? I ask this because I covered a small pot with joint compound and eventually, the watering made the joint compound begin to fall off. It wasn't the end of the world because it was just a small pot, but this being a table, I would really like to know. Thanks so much.
