For the fifth episode in this series with the cleaning and structural work complete and the painting back on the support, all of the attention is focused on the image as we work to address the losses and put the picture back together.

Does anyone else have a teeny tiny crush on this guy and his passion for restoration?

0:05 When the name "Lower Fifth Ave. During the Day" came up instead of untitled... Damn, i just feel so happy to have seen the process of this amazing painting coming from being nameless to having its identity finally get known to the world again

One question: I would love to know how the response from your clients usually is! Are they always happy? Do you have to redo your work sometimes and can you show us an example? Are they usually rather ambitious to spend more money on a specific restoration or do they try to minimize the costs?

'There's no secret to matching colours, just years of experience and practice.'

Dear Lord, never have I ever been in such awe of non-digital artists. I need my colour wheel. :(

I love your work but importantly, I am much more impressed at how neat your studio is. Perhaps a video of how you keep everything organized and clean would be nice or a "studio tour" so to speak.

I suffer with depression and find these videos so calming and they soothe me so much. Thank you for your dedicated, calm and caring efforts to restore. They restore me a little too.

Can we please appreciate how many camera angles are only on the act of carrying the painting from one room to the other. It makes me think how many times he had to carry that painting for that single shot. So much dedication in everything he does! Remarkable!

even a non-art knucklehead like me can appreciate this.
