Just a note/observation/question? AT the bottom left of the BRAW toolbox window in 'Toolbox': there are many options. I've realised that the correct option (looking at your vide) should be "Relink BRAW Clips within the EVENT" while by default my toolbox originally had "Convert PROJECTS to Resolve friendly FCPX". I think it might be useful to explain those OPTIONS too... at least for beginners like me! Thanks!

Just bought this and, so far, it's exactly what I've been looking for - brings files into FCPX AND keeping them BRAW - no transcoding - great stuff!

when I drag the Raw files into the library the footage goes read and it's only audio

For some reason after I prepare and drag to the event area my clip shows a red screen with two white boxes. Do you possibly know why? Thanks!

🚨Can Someone PLEASE Help?

When I drag the BRAW footage to my library, I get a message that says:


And the footage is just black.

It shows up and plays fine inside the BRAW Toolbox.

Any suggestions?

When you import the footage does it import as 12 bit or does Final Cut bring it as 10 bit?

I dont understand. I have importeed the raw video, did the changes, and chose an audio folder, I hit prepare files, and it turns green but just for 20 seconds. And do i have o make setting to each and every file indavidulay or can i do all at once, and none of the files are allowing me to drag the green square, it is change. This is extreamly slow process.

This is all a bit vague. What's Blackmagic SDK ? What's sandboxing ? It's assumed we already know. Also, I see quite a few people have problems with BRAW Toolbox, if it doesn't work is there a refund policy or are you just stuck with it after paying 80 quid ? Also, if I record sound on a separate recorder how does that work, would I just upload that into FCPX then sync later ? Thanks.

Having problems loading it into my library. I’m dragging the green icon into library but it just bounces back. Nothing happens. Any idea what it could be? Using FCPX

when I look at my inspector window, the BRAW toolbox shows up, but it doesn't give me any options or parameters to adjust.. any ideas? it's literally either on or off. won't let me adjust any of the BRAW data unless i do it before importing

Can I ask if importing high frame rates of BRAW work? I can’t get Color Finale Transcoder to properly import 60p or 120 FPS. It appears the maximum is 30p.

Also what’s the oldest version of FCPX does ToolBox support?

Not ashamed to say that that user with the dodgy hardware was me lol. My machine checks out fine according to Apple Hardware test. It works fine on my 2016 MBP Intel i7 with less powerful and integrated graphic capability and my M1 Pro MBP. I'll me moving on to M2 class chips anyway.
