Interfacing Matlab & Arduino (LED On Off)

Got bored of the hardaware control for arduino. As well as was currently interested in learning MATLAB, so tried to interface both the environments. Pushbuttons are used as switch on the GUI. When the ON swirch is pressed on the GUI, it sends a signal to the arduino and light turns on and when OFF switch is pressed, the light turns off.
Support material of matlab for arduino is freely available in the net. Just downloaded and installed it. Thats it. It is easy to design a GUI(graphical user interface) using MATLAB. There are thousands of tutorials available as well.
