Hi April, nice video. It was exactly what I was looking for.

I followed all the steps and almost everything worked fine, the only problem is when I open THEME EDITOR I can't change the THEME COLORS. I see the colors on the right (samples) but can't change any color.

All the other properties like Font Size, etc, I can change, the problem is only with colors

I am testing on my Developer Tenant, is there any limitation when this type of Tenant is used???

Thanks in advance for your reply.

I get an error - the colour picker is not there at all - have I missed something?
I just get this:
PrimaryColor1Value
PrimaryColor1TextValue
PrimaryColor2Value
PrimaryColor2TextValue

Thank you, April, great tutorial. However, Microsoft couldn't make this process more confusing and convoluted, hope it's being changed in the future, something like a corporate template (kind of like components library).

Hey April! Your videos are so helpful for me and my organization. A tutorial on using this with sharepoint i/o dataverse would be huge for my company, hopefully that is still in the works! Thank you for all of your help on microsoft :)

Thank you for your very insightful video.

During the video you mentioned it was possible to extract the required information from the CDE allowing the template to be used without the CDE user licenses. Can you point to any docs or videos that would guide me?

Thanks again.

Why is this not a thing in the CoE kit anymore? Creator kit is not nearly as good as this is.... at least for my opinion since there is no custom theme, so that when you create new button, it would contain all the proper theme colors...

Hi April
I work for a company that already has a Branding Theme, complete with RGBA numbers and pantone numbers. I dont see anything here which allows me to put those numbers into the code and produce the company theme ?

Have I missed something ?

Regards

Nigel

The thing I didn’t like about old school theme set ups is you had to manually update every control’s properties to use the custom theme variables.

How is this canvas app automatically setting the default value for “color” and “fill” and “size” to the variable name when add new controls. Maybe I missed that course.

Installing the generator theme app, i could not see the color pickers. I realized, in my CoE i did not configure to code component to be eable. Nevertheless, I was still not seing the pickers. If you get into the app in the edition mode, at least youll be able to interact with these controlers ;)

After the successful import of the theme solution, no canvas app was imported can be seen in my Apps pane, but I can clearly see it inside the managed solution. what am I doing wrong?
