this game is awesome, the different builds and customization was a real awesome experience and the story had it's moments, Kureha and Itsuki where interesting at least. I feel if they had polished it as whole a little more It'd have been a solid game in its own right.

this is my favorite game so far in the sao series, for me sao alicization lycoris is too laggy (I'll eventually complete the game someday). I haven't played the newer one yet but I'll try and buy it soon on steam

Btw spoiler warning this is a warning if you don t wan t it spoiled then don t read or if you re stuck and want to know more for the ending please proceed to reed, depending on what ending you get the mc views itsuki different hate with ending a or b and no hate with the true ending which also has a lot of steps to fullfil like getting every normal characters affinity above rank 1 and every fatal bullet character on rank 4 before starting the sbc flügel mission otherwise once finishibg the game with either a or b you ll get the chance to redo the ending before the sbc flügel the item needed is 1 itsukis gun and the ArFasys charm then when the gunal mission is named fatal bullet you can t do wrong when the boss does the charge attack shoot his weekpoint and you ll stagger him then comes the reveal of itsuki plan and the true final bosd appears he is simular to the one before but the attack that will trigger the cutscene to end a or b will not trigger it but still try to stagger him as it will give the chane to shoot the point more i will recommend dual assault rifle full auto to do hood damage to both bosses then you can enyoi a happy true ending

My first SAO game, eventually got around to playing all of console games… it a was a good starting place, a little clunky at times but I wasn’t complaining.. wished the game had a more active community still.. these types of games could thrive on community.. still waiting for a actual fully online multiplayer SAO mmorpg…one can hope right?

I really do not like this game but another thing that immediately turned me off as well were the absolute hideous colors. Specifically the models of the core SAO cast with some heavily oversaturated colours in this rather bleak world were hurting my eyes and looked downright awful to me. My favorite game in the franchise is definetly Hollow Realization this one Alicization Lycoris are just not my cup of tea... :/

I'm not a big fan of it. But it certainly needed to exist. Even if it lacked in many departments. It was absolutely a necessary Game for the Series to get.
