I'm using MEGA for a month already and I'm pretty satisfied. I like the encriptyon and the possibility to backup my music from PC and to play in their audio player. Player isn't perfect yet, has some bugs, but I guess they'll solve that in future. So far, so good..

Did you see their new terms of service? Less consumer friendly now... (BTW, I too love MEGA, but I'm slightly more skeptical of them and their intentions now) Here are the major new changes:
1. Data Storage and Access Locations: The new terms specify that data may transit or be temporarily stored in countries outside of New Zealand, Japan, Canada, or the EU, which may not provide the same level of protection for personal information as these regions. This could reduce consumer privacy protection when accessing data from such countries.

2. Indemnity for Third-Party Access: The updated policy holds users responsible for the actions of anyone they allow to access their data, including a full indemnity for any breach of terms by third parties. This increases liability on the user, offering less protection compared to previous policies.

3. Privacy and Data Disclosure: The terms now explicitly state that data and personal information may be disclosed to authorities as required by law, which could potentially weaken privacy assurances for users depending on the jurisdiction and the applicable legal demands.
