Some years ago I took a picture of his mom (with her approval “everybody wants to take my picture “) sitting in her usual spot outside the store. I also got a shot of the Porcelli Bros. A butcher shop a few doors down. That is my story.

everyday these kinds of business go defunct in nyc due to rising operation costs. big corporations and gentrification runs family business' out making it hard to afford rent or even get anybody inside. sad to see it.
