And this is also a great example of why color theory is important to understand when doing art! We perceive all colors differently based on what other colors are around them :)

this optical illusion os SO effective that even knowing it, is always stronger than any conscious effort you can make to defeat it.
And yeah, its a testament of how good our brain is at intepreting colors, expositions and see the color of objects pretty constant they can send you very different light intensities and wavelengths. of course there are ways to trick it
