Why I Still Play NBA 2K14 in 2023

Definitely feels more human than the new ones. Not just in the animations but the movement is not robotic and actually looks like how someone would play. To think they release the same game year after year and they couldn't keep the solid foundation they had since like 2k11

nba 2k14 next gen MC will always hold a special place in my heart, i still play it during the dead season of whatever 2k is out rn because its just so much fun

I play 2K10 to this day. Just to relive the 09-10 rivalry between the Lakers and Celtics. Lovely time tbh

Teammates could hit shots, I could make shots enjoy the game straight up. Not to mention each stadium had its own lighting which is non-existent in the games made currently. 2Ks biggest downfall was EA not making Live to give 2K a reason to be actually good.

I was given 2k14 for the 360 a few weeks ago and now it's my new favorite game. Still trying to learn everything about it, but it is so good. Go Pistons!

NBA 2k14 was the last 2K that wasn't so heavy hitting on the pc (just 8 gb before ballooning to 40+ gb on 2K15 onwards), so I still play it lol

This is what I love about this game, it's so easy to get assists and rebounds because your teammates will actually imitate the plays and run around for open looks.

I actually still play 2k14 too. I get a lot of grief for it and I hate that it doesn’t have todays roster but it’s just a more full experience

2k14 on ps4 n xbox one is still probably the greatest version of 2k having almost 10 years of hindsight to use to compare n 10years before it came out. I long the day iCan reup on one of them systems just to play it. I got a gaming laptop so iBeen heavy on that but this to me was the greatest 2k in terms of the things iAppreciate the most in a basketball sim.

2K back then was amazing. The gameplay was fast and the player reacted to the controls so quickly. Nowadays 2K just feels so slow.
