Definitely feel this! I always ask ‘which game are we playing? 90s NBA or late 2010s-early 2020s NBA?’ When asked ‘who wins?’ I’m biased, but I still say Bulls…mainly because MJ was a buck-seventy-five (maybe…soaking wet…) the first time he went up against the ‘Bad Boy’ Pistons. He was 210 when he finished his career. Steph doesn’t have the frame to do that (unless he gets on steroids). Further, he’s never been FORCED to do that! His skinny-armed, 160 lbs would get DESTROYED in that era and he would be about as good as his daddy (or maybe, like, a smaller Reggie Miller). My arms are the size of his arms…I’m a 40-plus-old has-been, not a professional athlete…how is it possible that I’m confident I could out-bench him (and I haven’t touched a barbell or bench rack in a decade)?!?
