In line 6 and 7,
The equation stated that :
2(a^2 - ab) = (a^2 - ab)
Is equivalent to
2 = 1
However, since
a = b
Therefore
(a^2 - ab) = (a^2 - a^2) => 0
And from line 6 to line 7,
We are dividing a^2 - ab
In other words we are dividing the equation by 0 which is undefined mathematically according to elementary arithmetic.
Hence shown that 2 = 1 cannot be prove by this method and thus 2 ≠ 1. ⬜️
