John's voice actor is so talented considering he has really only done this role

The strange man is death itself. He said, "you're famous John" . he's meaning John is famous in hell becuase he put so many people in there. He also said "I hope my boy turn out just like you". He also meaning that he wants his own child to be able to kill as easily as John. In another encounter with the same guy, he talks about Dutch on the ferry, killing a little girl. Funny how this strange man has been where death has been.

Fun fact: that man IS death, and in the second game, you can find his house with his iconic top hat, and if you 100% the game, you can go in his house and look at the painting in there, then look in the mirror and for a split second he will appear behind you.

It would be very unnerving to encounter a stranger who knows everything about you, even your secrets. Yet you know nothing about him but a sense that you've seen him before.

Fun fact, The strange man is actually from the bible. His name was cain and he was punished to roam the earth eternally. However anybody who hurt him would get hurt 7x back and when John met him he shot him 3 times in the head and then the Pinkerton shot him 21 times. 3 x 7 = 21

For those who are wondering, Rockstar has never came out and said who he's meant to be. He's who ever you think he is, because it's all up to personal opinion.

That last line is so fire. The dialogue and voice acting for these games is incredible.

I just realised when he says "I hope my boy turns out just like you" and "You kill people so easily, yet you respect the vows of marriage" It makes sense cause he's a reaper or death god of some sort. He'd obviously want his son to be able to take life with ease but also with respect or honour. A lot like John Marston, it's almost like the grim reaper/Death god is saying John would make a good reaper/god of death. It's very curious 😁✌️
