I LOVED making this song, cuz I made the lyrics with my sister 😊 So for this one I used a Raven to symbolize Darkness & bad luck. Sometimes in life you desparetly want to seek happiness, but you are SURROUNDED by darkness, making it seem impossible. All you need is that Raven to sing you a happy song 😊 I Also played off Edgar Allen poe’s “The Raven” poem for some of the lyrics, one of my favorites 😊

My mom passed away January 1st this year, and this song reminds me of her BC she loved ravens and he favorite poem was Edgar Allen Poe’s the raven. And listening to this song made me tear up and smile just BC of what it’s based off of. This will forever be my song to her. Thank you.😊

I have a kind of depression that always comes back, like spinning the same wheel around forever. When I'm in a down phase, i feel not able to seek out the happiness i crave. I long for anything to give me a little light to hold on to. This song perfectly captures this feeling. And somehow, it cheers me up. It gives me hope that the raven in my life still has some happy songs to sing for me. that some hope is left. that im not a lost case and that i can, in fact, still fight and dream.
