My father back in 2005 did the same thing with a man who accidentally killed my younger brother.
3 days after the funeral, my dad went and asked to speak to the man in the holding cell. Gave him a hug and said: we all forgive and we are dropping all charges against you. My son died because his time on earth was over.
I was raised to live and respect all and help all regardless of color, race.
Islam and good muslims aren’t a threat.
