This is unusual video for me. I hope you will like it. Anyway, I am not planing to do many videos like this one.

Great breakdown and concise analysis, a very useful primer on the current state of robot arms!

I liked the way you compared the arms! It was interesting and informative. Keep up the good work!

Great job describing the different clever designs for the arms. I always love to see how these challenges are solved. I would suggest that you also take a look at some of the various prosthetic arms out there as well.

It's amazing. Theoretical videos quite helpful in case of understanding robotics. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Discovered LIMS2 some time ago. IMO it's the most promising design out there and if the production and assembly could be simplified it would have a lot of potential as a commercial product.

very nice doku with a lot of work done by you! Nice! TOP! Very good work!

I don't think LIMS2 can really do "high five" since it only has three fingers (according to the schematic) but "high three" :D

Nice video skyentific!!, :D the advantage is the number of movements of the first robot, but the rope mechanism makes it less precise and that it generates oscillations when the sea load passed, in my opinion

Thank's friend, i did enjoy this video very much!!!

I loved this vid, and agree about Blue and LIMS2, didn't know about the Halodi and it was very interesting!

Great short analysis and compare this example of 3 robot arm.

Halodi Robotics is the company. EveR3 is the robot. And the Revo1 direct-drive motors are what they use.
What is interesting is the counter-tensioned
synthetic rope-based transmission which is actually part of the motor itself

Thanks for another great video! I am learning so much from you. I have a general question (not related to this vid). What is "backdriveable" and why is it good and important? I assume it means "you can twist the joint or end effector that we're talking about and the force will transmit back through the transmission and spin the motor/source of torque" or something like that. Does it have anything to do with the elecrical system's tolerance of back EMF, or just the low internal friction of the system, or ??? Thanks!
