I have to re-watch your videos from the beginning, I kinda... Forgot about them! ^^'
But you're doing an amazing job with your videos!
What I like about them is, that:
- they're long
- you keep all the mistakes in
- you fix the mistakes on cam (mostly :D)

I think, you should turn the engine into a game first and afterwards jump into 3D-GFX!
Just create 3-5 levels (that should be enough work for 2 vids =P) and put the code as-is on github or your forum and we can experiment with it! :D

I have been catching up from the lesson 1 of this series (having some coding background from my job), and i have learnt so much from these video's, not just in using DirectX, but in using the C++ language as well.
Also if they used the Math examples you used when i was in School and described them in that way, they would have be so much more easily understood.

I am on beginner tutorial 12. I decided to check out your latest video, and wow. Looking at the code in this video, I am like holy shit, I will never learn that. I guess by the time I reach this video I will understand it all. Also, by the looks of this video, it appears that just adding a model and a texture takes a very large amount of coding and knowledge. Am I correct? I was hoping adding models in DirectX would be as easy as xna game studio. It was all pretty simple in XNA.


By the way.. What happened to "GAME OVER at the end of video? :(

Hey chili, still on beginner series, but looking forward to advanced. One suggestion is to cut down on inappropriate visuals, I do not mind audio. And also to work on 3D if you decide to do that, my goal actually is to be working on 3D games. Anyways, thanks for the videos.
