Those commenting that it is too hard, just remember the key is practice, just keep replaying the video and follow along, continue following WITH the video until u think u got it, then try it on your own, just keep practicing. Whenever u pick up your cards, try this three times, that's a good way to practice without getting sick of it. These tactics help me. Just trying to be helpful. :D

At the start of this year I thought I would never be able to do this sleight let alone master it. I just started to learn this again and now it's easier woohoo!

I am using a normal deck in this video (no rough and smooth card). 1:04 is the same technique as 3:06. The outjog at 5:30 is not a risk because the card is pulled flush with the deck less than a second after the card is outjogged. It is only used to regain a pinky break.

Some sleight of hand techiques can be difficult with 100% plastic cards. I recommend using paper (anything made by the US Playing Card Company is good).

Here is a tip: try to keep your ring finger at the half of the card edge not at the bottom because if you keep it at the bottom cards are more likely going to separate and if you keep in near the middle they will stay together.

Wonderful double. One of the most important parts of this is that it doesn't look like you're being careful with the cards, which is perfect. I can't remember whether out was Erdnase or Vernon who said it, but the basic idea was that cards are light and delicate, so it is suspect when one handles them like cinder blocks. The pushover, the drop. Perfect examples of this principle. We'll done.

Tip for a really good card control I came up with using these same techniques: Dribble cards to your left hand and ask a spectator to call stop. As you ask them whether this is the card they would like, do a pinky count under two cards and do a two card pushover. Point to the pushed over double as you verify that this is the card they would like. Proceed to lift up your left hand in order to give them a peek of their pushed over selection. While you do this, pull back the top card of the double (random card) flush with the rest of the deck as you use your left hands 2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers to push the selected card further over. When they have memorized the selection, lower your left hand back down and at the same time pull the selected card flush with the deck. Push the random card above the selection over as you lower your hand or soon after. Immediately make a one handed fan with the right hand portion of the deck and insert the random card (which the spectators think is their selection) somewhere in the fan.

Congrats! You can now ask the spectator to push their presumed card in, which gives you plenty of time to dump the actual selection in your lap, under your thigh or whatever. You can also leave it on the left hand packet and place the closed fan inside the left hand packet leaving the selection on top.

This is the best double lift method I've found! Or, at least, the one that fits my hands best!
