Just got one of these stands. They are absolutely fantastic

Bought the newer version (model AC9946) a couple weeks ago and love it. New model has larger wheels and a single cross-bar style handle versus the two curved end-bars. Reviewed several different makes of miter saw stand for my DeWalt DWS780 saw and chose the Ridgid. Many other guys probably did likewise because it was near impossible to find one. Just checked again, and the next batch is supposed to be available mid-January.

How tall is it when it's folded up, not including the saw? I can't find that info anywhere, thanks

I had the same setup but got sick of doing that in and out of the truck everyday. it really put a lot of wear and tear on the stand and truck. switched to a lighter more portable saw and stand.
