I'm a Guyanese of Indian Origin. Based on our local social studies subject taught at primary education; our history is that our Amerindians people (First Nations) came to the Americas 10, 000 years ago during the last ice age via the Bering Strait from Siberia (eastern province of Russia.)

No, it is to respect the natives and their past. And most those sites belong to natives.

Every one knows that and still everyone ignores that part.

North America was simply occupied by many warring tribes who were displaced/conquered by a more militarily advanced culture and several illnesses which the natives had little to no immunity were introduced

Ignorance at its own finest! native burial sights and other archeological sites are protected by laws proposed by native Americans. Numerous request have been made to look at places of interest and they are turned down by native councils

I am American. We were actually taught that our country was stolen and bartered away in school . . . I also grew up around the Muckleshoot Reservation and my next door neighbors were Muckleshoot. The burials aren't disturbed for the same reason they aren't in Japan, out of respect for the dead. You can say it's a cover up, but the laws were made on the behest of the tribes.

The real travesty were the boarding schools which stamped out Native American culture via assimilation.

The English and Spanish were the ones who dismissed American history. You're getting your colonizers mixed up. It seems that you are twisting facts out of your distaste of white men.

What you are saying is intellectual dishonesty. The American natives do not want burial grounds excavated because the grounds are sacred. American Natives in the US do not pay any type of tax to the local or fed govt. They are protected and given lots of benefits to help them preserve their culture. They have representatives in the congress to be the voice for the natives

But in our india, these atheist, Muslims Christians and others intentionally excavate and finger Hinduism unnecessarily.
How to deal with this

The reason is pretty clear the natives wer called Indians for a reason.

NAGPRA (the law he talks about) is in place to prevent grave robbing, and is enforced if a link can be prove between and given remains and a current existing native tribe!

Those sites used to be dug up and investigated until multiple lawsuits brought by native Americans ended that practice. Not because of an attempt to hide history, but because native Americans wanted these places to be respected and undisturbed.
Would you want your ancestors burial sites to be dug up? Of course not.

there are also international treaties that prohibit moving the remains of old Spanish shipwrecks that remain under the ocean. In both cases, the laws are not made to hide history, they are made to preserve it.

What is done in North-South America, same was attempted in India during British India by means of famine, plagu, wars, ....
It's unfinished and the project is on by means of unrest in Indian subcontinent.
