Who in the world goes into combat wearing gym workout clothes. My physical fitness test at Fort Dix in December 1968 was full out web gear, M14, steel pot, fatigues and combat boots. We were killing machines trained by the meanest, nastiest cadre God ever put on this earth and I enlisted, to be physically and verbally abused by these men, best 12 weeks of my life😂😂🇺🇸🇺🇸WETSU. We ran the fing mile in boots, field jackets, field pants because it was so friggin cold . My CBT company was made up of mostly college graduates with a few draftees mixed in.
