Elektron Analog Rytm mkII Review Part 2

Part 2 of my review of the Analog Rytm mk2. Sorta.

just bought a black one brand new and after 2 days it froze 2 times!! so after 3 years its still not fixed😡

Thank you for your input. It’s the best review without a review.
I thought I was the unlucky one to be saddled with a problematic AR Mk II with similar problems.
However I have to commend Elektron for their excellent support but a little disappointed that this champion Swedish company has major hiccups with the MKII which I think is a brilliant piece of machinery.

This does count as a review in that the Rytm was tested and found to not be working properly.

I own the Digitakt, Octatrack MKii along with the Analog 4 MKii. After seeing this review, I'm not moving forward on the RytmMKii. I can live without Overbridge but strongly disagree how Elektron still markets the product although it does not exist. At first I thought the critics were full of shit, but indeed there is some shady goings on at Elektron.

Hey buddy quick question. How do I load additional sound banks to this machine? Every time I do it via sysex bank A and B change, and bank A has like 2 sounds... so then I end up having to factory reset the thing... I'm growing pretty tired of this machine and I've owned it for 1 day.... any advice?

basically i can be happy that i bought the rytm mk1, i'm also considering to do this with the octatrack since i rather have the robust knobs. besides that i had a wonderful friend who showed me the capability of the octatrack and based on that i would stick with their mk1 series instead of the mk2. it's simply not worth the upgrade in my eyes and at the end "There is always a work around method".
