Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions Top 5 Mods

Even though Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions doesn't have that many mods compared to the PSX version of Final Fantasy Tactics, there have been some really cool mods that changed up the game.

#1 is such a fundamental mod I forgot about it being one. Lots of love for vanilla indeed. The other mod I can think of if you want to keep it vanilla is "smart" encounters.

I prefer the WOTL over the original because the localization makes the game feel more epic, at least as a foreigner it was interesting to read though all the "mayhaps" and "thous", and learn some words I'll probably never use in my life

I got influenced by your video to try out FFT WotL and I wanted to try out the QoL changes of 2.5 and Slowfix patch. I'm playing it on my android using PPSSPP and I'm wondering if I could apply multiple patches on the game? Im new to PSP modding and I'm not sure if there are conflict resolution on the patcher. I tried looking online and no one seems to mention about using multiple mods. Just asking for some tips from anyone who's more familiar. Great video <3

Edit: I read from somewhere that 2.5 already have the speed fix. I was getting a corrupted file after double patching it with 2.5 and slow fix. After testing out the game with just 2.5 the spells do have speed fix.

gonna be honest, on paper the changes in 2.5 sounds fantastic but in pratice the changes are really bad, it legit plays like a demote to the valeria mod . Making female exclusive gear avaiable to everyone(except 1 piece of armor exclusive for each gender) and increasing the female units PA while reducing the MA growth and vice versa with male units really broke the difference gender made to units, now all of them are a carbon copy of each other and dont feel unique AT ALL in any point. Theres a bunch of other "balance changes" that kinda ruined the fft vibe when youre playing it and that actually made the game unfun to me to the point i prefer to play 1.3 insane from scratch than this mod. Valeria for me is stll the best mod followed by 1.3 .

Can u use slowdown patch on modded games or only vanilla wotl, normally i play vanilla fft but want to give wotl a shot since i never played it lol

I am a big fan of FFTA Advance and A2. I have never play War of the Lions or any other FFT. Would you recommend playing the War of the Lions vanilla game then trying one of these mods?
