Sometimes, when we are evaluating a limit the direct substitution produces 0 in both the numerator and denominator. Such a limit is said to be in the indeterminate form 0/0. When a limit is in the indeterminate form of type 0/0, you must do some algebraic manipulation to get rid of that form. In this video, you will learn the main algebraic techniques for evaluating limits of functions for which direct substitution yields the indeterminate form of type 0/0.
