It would be nice if there was an update of the situation 10-12 years later, although what's discussed here is still valid today as NOTHING has changed.

If we were on the gold standard it would greatly deplete the wealth of the top people because gold is based on intrinsic true value and it is only going to be traded with things that have real value.. The wealthy would have a much much lower net worth than is with fiat currency.

Wall Street, often described as the world's largest financial arena, has seen investments made with your hard-earned money resemble a high-stakes gamble. 💥🤯

For some, I think this information will be too little and/or too late.

Double entry accounting is 700 years old.
It could have been mandatory in American high schools since Sputnik. When have you heard an economist, educator or politician suggest such a thing? Then the accounting books are written as though the objective is to get a job as an accountant not serve one's own self interest.

We are supposed to be dumb worker/consumers going into debt for junk designed to become obsolete while economists say nothing about planned obsolescence and demand side depreciation.

We're just a bunch of legal dummies....holding title for the State. We were persuaded to believe that the Last Public Surname belonged to us. Even though we were told our first name was our given name, and a given is a fact, we didn't really understand that the Last name was not a given and not a fact. The State created a person, a fiction of law, a legal entity creature of the State by taking our private first proper given Christian name(our parent being the informant with the information) and merged(confused) it with the State-owned title public last surname.
