Australia’s High Court has dismissed an interim application by Russia to prevent the Commonwealth Government taking control of a site Moscow had leased for a new embassy.
The Kremlin’s fight to build an embassy on a controversial plot of land, 400 metres from Parliament House has ignited tensions over the past week.
The Albanese Government blocked Russia from building that very embassy over fears of spying and national security.
