Lyrics:
00:00 / "The Star Kings - Act 1. A bright dark future"
At night, when sleep won’t come, I’m turning pages,
While demons whirl beyond the window’s glass.
I touch the worn-out lines of distant ages —
They crackle soft like footsteps in the grass.
Once more upon those brittle lines and covers,
Penned long ago by Hamilton’s own hand,
The Dark League's troops engage like ghostly lovers,
And mighty Orion takes command.
A blackened globe in empty space is spinning,
The stars are cold, but still the fire calls.
A cruiser flies — its journey just beginning —
To Canopus, where light and magic falls.
That world is strange — surreal, alive, enchanted —
Its crystal peaks and oceans vast and wild.
And there descends, serene and moonlight-granted,
Princess Lianna, starlit, free and mild.
The moons race on through skies of burning amber,
Then fade like coals before the break of day.
You wouldn’t spot Neptune in all that clamor —
Let alone Earth, so modest and so gray.
A web of lies the cunning tyrant's weaving,
Through ether vast, across galactic seas.
Another ship now rises, silent, leaving
For Thallarna — a world that does not please.
Beneath a red and brooding sun it hovers —
A black sphere shrouded, lifeless, still and grave.
Its jungle, pale, like death itself, it covers
With warship bays and fungal ghost-like caves.
There treacherous Markab is boldly heading,
Where even night dissolves without a sound.
And in the cloud-wrapped city, dark and dreading,
The palace of the Endless Dark is found.
There, in the heart of Dark League’s silent scheming,
Where shadows drift like thoughts we half forget,
The threads of war and secret plots are streaming —
The people gather. War is coming yet.
**********
03:37 / "The Star Kings - Act 2. Doomsday Weapon"
The war draws near. Its dark and brooding ember
Has waited long within the tyrant’s womb.
And when he speaks — as none shall dare remember —
It steps into the light to bring our doom.
Blood shall be spilled. The planets melt and shatter.
And stars themselves will tremble, break, and slide,
As dreadnoughts, "phantoms", corvettes — all in clatter —
Ascend through zenith, plunge through nadir’s tide.
Where space is crushed, the ships collide in thunder,
Their blaster beams entwine in deadly dance.
The atom loosed — as ancient swords would sunder —
Renews the hunt, the slaughter, and the chance.
The living will envy the dead, who lie in silence,
Entombed beneath collapsing worlds of flame.
And only one thing halts the despot’s violence:
A secret weapon — forged in Empire’s name.
That weapon, wrought by mighty Brenn Bir’s vision,
Awoke all humankind to rise and fight.
It turned the tide, it carved the world’s decision,
And shaped our fate, our future, and our right.
It stood against an age of smoke and shadow,
A war we must remember, not forgive —
When sons of Amambaran crossed the shallows,
And none but steel and flame were left to give.
They came from Clouds that Magellan once had charted,
Two hundred thousand years before this day —
Cold-blooded minds, scaled beasts, cold-hearted,
Devouring all who dared to block their way.
Like demons from a cursed and burning vision,
Spewed out from hell’s forgotten, final gate —
But one stood firm with fire and precision:
The emperor… who stopped them at their fate.
Yet what of that? The stars still burn with hunger.
The drums resound. The tyrant lifts his hand.
And once again, the dark will thunder stronger —
For war returns… across the shattered land.
**********
06:34 / "The Star Kings - Act 3. This ageless tale..."
Again, the starships rise into the thunder,
While bombing sirens wail across the skies.
For some, the end will tear their souls asunder —
For some, the end is chains and captive cries.
Once more, the void becomes a field of fire,
And history draws near its final page…
But mortals rise, defying gods and liars,
And stand against the tyrants of the age!
As demons clash with humankind in sorrow,
Before the endless ring that knows no day,
I still believe — beyond this dark tomorrow —
This ageless tale will end in light… someday.
