Story: A dude who had a crush on me less than a week ago got me a small Christmas gift because we’re friends. Now this gift was a small necklace that had 2 parts to make up one pendant that said “I love you to the moon and back.” I was so happy when I received this necklace because I’m a sentimental person and love having physical gifts to keep from people, (mind you he is moving In February ) so I was really excited. I soon realized my mom was going to be infuriated with this gift and take it away from me but I was still having hope. Once we were in the car my mom took the necklace immediately and has it in her makeup bag so I can’t have it. Now I’m not allowed to get gifts from boys. I cried so hard for 15 minutes. Now when I go out or even scroll yt shorts I’m constantly reminded that I can’t date and don’t get to feel like the happiest, luckiest girl in the whole world bc of my mom😭😭 Pray for me, before I go insane 🤪
