It is also worth noting that the dragon piercer shot is no longer locked in the Direction you were aiming when you triggered it like it used to be. Now you are free to aim it in any direction once you activate it.

all of the combo advise was needlessly complicated for starters dragon piercer can be preformed at any time by pressing y+b on xbox or triangle+circle on PlayStation. similarly thousand dragons can also be preformed at any time by simply adding right trigger to the previous commands. be careful these attacks will lock you in place and likely get you hit i mainly use them when the enemy is locked into a move or stunned i hope this made it easier for new players.

I do not see anyone mentioning that you can skip the last few seconds where you are just standing after firing thousand dragon by using the focus strike

Just a quick tip that I haven’t seen yet, don’t greed wounds. I’ve been bucked off enough mounts that if I see a bow user then I have to change up how I inflict wounds when mounted. Also, if there are two bow users try to stay somewhat close together. Melee users spend a lot of time chasing the monster (unnecessary downtime) when they are bouncing from one bow user to the other and they are split. It’s pretty annoying. I main insect glaive, I can manage extraction but when my vortexes extract like essences (which is bad, need variety) popping a wound can remedy that issue and refill our gauge. Whenever IG gauges aren’t full, we are essentially debuffed so anything to refill that gauge helps. There are other classes that can also benefit from wounds so don’t just pop them every chance you get. If it’s been there for a minute then go for it. I got grouped with 2 bow users and another insect glaive for a tempered gore and it was a mess. Both bow users were greeding wounds and split so we were wasting vortexes and chasing gore around debuffed trying to get our extracts and those bow users are 2/3 carts. The other glaive user used the last cart and I’d bet a million bucks he was trying to extract when that happened due to lack of wounds and gore not sitting still.

Bow has been my favorite weapons since Freedom Unite on psp. Cant wait to put the new one through its paces

After thousand dragons, you can queue up a dodge to get out of the insanely long cooldown animation.

Im going to run bow and dual blades since stamina surge compliments both weapons

Dual blades benefits the most from the skills bow uses on armor and gives you variety if you’re torn on what secondary to use.

Watching this with the game paused mid fight after I switched to my bow by accident and just decided to roll with it, but I dont know the new moves yet because I mained Long Sword for the story like the unwashed weeb I am.

Lol this whole time I've never used the tracer arrow. I just dove right in and found a way to use it that works. I think the 700 hours in mh world as a Bow/Hammer main helped lol. But this tracer arrow is revolutionary! Looking forward to playing with it today!
