I actually was wondering how to deal with the lining.
Your tutorials are really great, simple to understand even for a non native English speaker as I am. Well done!
I like that you go slowly when you saw so I don't fell dumb when I don't go full speed on my machine. Nice to see it's ok to go at the pace you're comfortable with (or the one you need to go to support the explanations) ;)
Maybe this would also work for a "bound pocket" ?

omg.... a bound buttonhole is just a double welt pocket for your button (with no pocket bag). Mind blown.
