These are good tips. I've been using mine for about 2 years. There was definitely a learning curve at first but it is so much better than the traditional methods of managing our menstrual cycle.

I read on the Diva Cup website that you should not use Castile soap (or any oil based soap) on it! Just as a warning. I think the oils in the soap could deteriorate the material over time.

what size did you get? I don't have kids and I'm not sure that I'd need the over 30 one. It looks huge.

I really like the idea of trying one, but considering I'm a highschool student, I have no idea how i would clean it during the day.

I plan to get one when I run out of my current products to minimize the space they take up. But do you only take it in/out at home? what about when working or on the go? I tend to bleed heavy, so this has been my main concern. and I don't want to have to carry a tampon or liner as "backup."
