I feel sorry for Persephone and as for her kidnapping by the other gods, Demeter forced their hands.

It's legit how they didn't want to kidnap her or hurt her in any way. After all, she's their cousin/sister and Hestia's niece. But Demeter pushed them to it. 😢😢

I like how Athena told Persephone not to use her powers because then they'd really have to fight and probably have to hurt her for real.

I saw the deleted scene where Persephone returns to the surface world and Demeter, right after leaving her children. Demeter immediately starts criticizing Persephone's pallor and figure, but Persephone looks perfectly healthy to me, even queenly. In this clip, with her braids, she looks less mature to me, more Goldilocks than queenly. It's quite representative. In the Underworld, Persephone was a queen, treated and seen as an adult. Here, she is known as Demeter's little girl.
