Hi!! Former Plant Killer here. I started flower farming last year. Had no clue that stock was a single cut flower!! 😅
So good to know! I've been documenting my struggles because like you said, I have those 2 black thumbs but I'm working on them becoming green thumbs of life!! Great video!

Super helpful. Direct and not a lot of extra gab. I'm starting a cut flower business this year. I've got seedlings for many of the ones you showed. Definitely need your ebook materials.

oo just found your channel. I'm so excited! I live in Zone 5 technically but there are plenty of drafts that can make it feel like zone 4 so I'm thrilled you have cold climate gardening tips!

Great video! I’m resisting starting my flower seeds too early, it’s hard! Love your picks! I have had great luck with rudbeckia, marigolds, echinacea, salvia and zinnias here in Maryland. This year I’m adding yarrow and tall ageratum varieties. Feverfew grows wild here and is a great filler flower. We will see how it goes. 🌸🌸🌸🌱🌱🌱

So interesting and I'm glad I found you! I'm going to move all my flowers to raised beds, because of my health, so I'll have to pay attention to the heights of them. Thanks for the info!!!

Thank you for this! I follow you on Instagram and I didn't realize you did videos and books as well. I am a new farmer that will be doing a cut flower garden "for fun" next year. Zone 4b. I have about 50 tulips in the ground and seeds ready to go.

I've tried almost all, and they are nice and easy indeed (in my zone 4)
Marigold (tagetes) also goes well with calendula.
And asters! In my experience they last much longer then zinnias in bouquets and have big beautiful flowers :)
Cornflowers are also easy and fast-growing. And look amazing with leucanthemum.
Looking forward to summer!

I grew zinnias sunflowers and cosmos this last year which was my first year growing. I had success with all however the cosmos didn’t last but a couple days in the vase. Zinnias and suns flowers were good but I grew a branching sunflower and I think I want to grow the single stem sunflowers die stronger bigger flowers this year. I’m in zone 7b
