Just look at that crowd, I’ve never seen such enthusiasm 🙄
They really have no idea what they’re watching or apart of, do they..? You truly begin to understand where iDKHOW’s “Nobody Likes The Opening Band” stems from with this venue full of sleepy teens.

March 2... arguably one of my favorite Brobecks songs... my favorite Mike Gross Brobecks song for sure, was performed live at the Roxy in LA, 2007... opening up a Fall Out Boy show. It’s absolutely criminal such an amazing song is in the band’s “unreleased” category... but I’ve found that to be the case with most of my favorite tracks from them. I find the amount of unreleased music these guys have to be kinda strange, especially since most of them are great songs.

I really love the keyboard intro they did with this live performance, as it’s not apart of the studio version. IMO they sounded great, even if they look a little intimidated // nervous. But this was at a time when they were still not very well known outside of SLC, they’re opening the show to a venue full of Fall Out Boy fans who couldn’t possibly care less, and still being pretty independent, the major record label presence (Fueled By Ramen) and professional camera crew would make anyone sweaty and nervous.

I'll catch you if it's the last I do
I don't know how,
But I want you now

I know you may be a little bit scared of me
For how it sounds,
But I want you now

You make the flesh fall from the bone
With every kiss,
From your poisoned lips

I'll carve my eyes out with a spoon
If you tell me to,
That's what I'll do

God placed the color in your eyes
I could see for miles inside of you
I'll resign to wait...
But I can't wait for long

You always think of an excuse
Shut your mouth,
I want you now

I'm in the twilight of my youth
It's fading out,
I want you now

I'm in the twilight of my youth
It's fading out,
I want you now

How long must this go on?
All the waiting makes me sick and tired

How long must this go on?
Oh my lips are always moving, but I can't say a word

Oh, long ago
Someone told me
That you're crazy...
And I'm crazy for being crazy for you

Oh, long ago
A friend told me
That I should walk away...
While my hands are still clean

How long must this go on?
The timing is all wrong

How long must this go on?
The timing is all wrong...

Oh, long ago
Someone told me
That you're crazy...
And I'm crazy for being crazy for you

Oh, long ago
A friend told me
That I should walk away,
While my hands are still clean...

Ever since I found out about this show roughly a year ago I am in love with it. In the short time they had they gave such unique spins on the songs they played, I love how the backing screams sound more desparate and my lord those guitar riffs @ 2:27 I WISH THEY WERE IN THE UNRELEASED VERSION

I love just how long the whole “no peer pressure” thing has been around!

This has to be one of my favorite brobecks songs. Right after city lights and die alone. I really like the live version
