In the year 1905, Albert Einstein, who was 26 years old at the time, published three research papers on the Special Theory of Relativity. These papers revolutionized the understanding of the scientific community and humanity as a whole about time. During this period, Einstein was working in the patent office and had not obtained a doctorate in physics or mathematics.

These three papers were the reason for the downfall of the classical physics era that had lasted for over 200 years. Classical physics was established by eminent scientists like Isaac Newton, Maxwell, and Galileo.

Isaac Newton's view on time was that it is an absolute factor, akin to a train moving at a constant speed in a straight line. When Newton was asked about time, he said he didn't need to explain the nature of time because it is absolute.

This recalls the famous quote by the astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson: "It is easy to think you have all the answers and feel you are right, but the harder part is to know that you don't have all the answers and recognize that you are wrong."

Indeed, Einstein proved in the Special Theory of Relativity that Newton's ideas about time were incorrect. Time is not an absolute factor, and it is relative. Time varies depending on the observer and the motion of the object being observed.

In this video, I will discuss one of the most important scientific theories in human history, which marked the beginning of the modern physics era. We will explore the scientific evidence supporting this theory and understand how the theory of relativity has impacted our daily lives.
