In all my years of watching instructional video's I have never seen anyone else explain the down swing in such an easy to understand way.

I've been trying to figure this out for 20 years, not one of the 25 pros that I've had lessons from has explained it this well. I just got done hitting balls, not one Pull
Thank you

Wow, you are the first person to be able to demonstrate why I’m pulling my shots in such a way that it makes sense. I am definitely your number 2 example because that’s the feeling I’ve trained to purposefully. For weeks, I’ve tried to have my trunk pull my arms through. Thanks so much for this. I’ll incorporate this drill today because I’m tired of missing so far left.

This was an excellent instructional demonstration as it showed exactly the downward and forward movement of the club throughout the entire swing, as well as showed and explained the potential effects of the club’s face. Stopping and explaining each transition really helped me understand at which point my swing is less than ideal. This was helpful to me—thanks for sharing your knowledge.

ffs..I used to play off 16, quit for a few years due to back in and developed a beautiful draw, which is completely unwanted most of the time.
I've been turning my shoulders more to the right at address to try and offset, but that just moves the low point further back and makes it worse.
Trie to hit with a 'flatter' swing, but that just ruins the arc and takes everything way offline, making it all worse.
I just could not figure out how to start right and let my natural draw bring me back on
You just nailed
Drop my arms on the squat, which opens everything up to let the head have plenty 'square' time and space to flow through the impact.
Now I'm back to hitting them right of target to bring them back I just need to moderate the draw control.
Thank you.

Wow, this tip helped me SO MUCH! I watched it before I played today, then worked on the range before the round to get the feel of dropping my hands straight down. Played my best round of the year - 71 - and my ball striking was so solid. THANKS!

I have this exact issue. I struggled with a slice all my life. I've recently started lessons with a PGA pro. He strengthened my grip and taught me to rotate to square the club face. 30 or so years ago, I was taught to shift weight to my rear leg, and then shift to the lead leg while turning around that lead leg, releasing the club by turning my wrists and forearms to square the club face. Ever since learning the modern swing, my miss has been a pull left that draws/hooks after starting dead left. I think this video in particular will help me cure that mistake and hit the ball straighter.

One of the best videos explaining this fix. I was having this problem for more than a year and this explanation finally fixed it for me.

I have been pulling my shots for some time now and have been offered several solutions which never worked. After watching this video, I went out on the golf course and, not only did it fix this problem, I was hitting longer and more accurately. Thanks, great video

I've been golfing for 15 years and have had this issue for a while. Definitely example #2 here. Like everyone else has said in the comments, this is outstanding explanation. Thank you for your help. Looking forward to hitting the range and working on correcting the issue.

I am a relative newcomer to the game and taking lessons from a local pro. I have this exact issue of pulling to the left. My coach did many adjustments to my swing that left me more confused and frustrated. This is exactly what I needed! Thank you for this excellent video.

I love these videos that were especially prepared for me. I have been fighting this issue lately and didn’t know how to fix it. Thank you so much.

Terrific instruction on this swing concept. This describes exactly how my game was today. The drill seems spot on and I will take it to the range this week. It’s so frustrating to hit a great drive, have a short iron in and yank it to the left. Happened at least 3 times today. Thanks Kerry.

I like the way he indexes his video, and his advice, too. Been looking for a video about this down and around idea.

It always amazes me how simple these little fixes are, yet you don't realize it till someone shows you. This is exactly what I needed to see, thank you.

This is by far the best tip I need now. My understanding is by avoiding pulling left, this also improves ball contact with the clubface by making the swing arc more oval other than circular round, helps better covering the ball (as indicated in one of your other video clips) by moving the hands as low as can be in the downswing (as indicated in your other clip). Results are great: more distance and more accuracy. MUCH APPRECIATION from Saudi Arabia to you, Kerrod Gray.

I've been doing a great ball strike...wide left approx 10-15 yards. So i shoot my shot and aim for the right edge of the green! Works pretty good if you seriously aim for the right edge...

I was just practicing this on the range and discussing it with a practice friend. This is a perfect explanation. WOW!
