I actually think it's kind of cool, that Barr can say what he said, and Trump is OK with it. It's what Trump would expect from a guy who's running the DOJ, while Trump is busy being a politician. If anything, it goes to the wisdom of hiring Barr. Not that Trump's all that wise about his hirings. His main deal is firing somebody after things don't go so good. The president needs a Hope Hubris for hiring.
