In this video I will show you step by step how to change your country of residence of your YouTube Account in under 5 Minutes. This can be extremely helpful if you are using keyword tools to optimise your channel to get more views (I will do separate videos about that very soon!). Also to get other video suggestions... This is not your language setting. It is basically the country from wich you are watching and managing your channel from. In Other words, the country where you are currently in. After changing your country you will get different video suggestions. The suggestions are the videos someone from your new location would get suggested. I will show you step by step how to change your country in the youtube creator studio in under 5 minutes. To be exact in 1:59 minutes, so make sure to watch the entire video to be able to do this for yourself.

hi guys i heard somthing about tax when you have your location in US and some other countries
if i was let us say in india or turky but i set my channel to US
and i used someone in the US number to verified the channel
is he going to pay taxes ?!
and if yes
is the taxes removed from the AdSense automatically or he need to pay it manually ?

What I wish to know is if my location/country the reason my channel isn't growing. I have a health channel, and my country is Jamaica and even though my cintentbir pretty good I cannot get subscribers. So I'm wondering

The question is not how, but why and does it make sense? I'm German and moved to Indonesia recently. I changed the channel to Indonesia because I thought I have to. I feel that the channel suffers a lot from this change.

However, I think this is not a good idea as my videos will be recommended to Indonesians, which is ridiculous because I don't speak a word of Indonesian language in my videos.

Any advice for someone moving to another country and still wanting to make content primarily for the home country viewers?
