I agree. What seems to be happening is the church has let the world into the church. If women knew their position in Christ they would not be pushing for the man's role in the church. Before sin eve was content in her position with Adam.

Research where men that have been married more than one time not be, pastor, deacons or HOLD a position in the church BUT we know & have seen this be ignored in many churches ??? Where or who is wrong or right. The word also tells us to workout our OWN salvation.

So much dogmatism in the comments and no discernment. A woman and a man both have the right to discuss things regardless of gender or what. The Bible also had incest and rape. Does that mean God allows it? Does that mean we should do it too? The Bible allowed slavery does that mean we should do it too?

Yes follow the Lord but remember that His teachings are all about love. Now how is stopping women from preaching or how is gatekeeping their statements a sign of love?

That's why God gave us our minds, we base it on His word sure but we also apply it to what we think is moral. and just.


Another example is the verse regarding Jesus saying you must gauge out your eye if you look at a random woman with lust. All of us men had fallen into that, Does that mean we must take our eyes out literally?

Discernment is a gift given by the spirit. Do not read the word literally but by Faith and Love, or else you'd just end up being a Pharisee.

You guys have to remember that yes it is the word of God but more importantly it was written by IMPERFECT people aka sinners who also have divine wisdom and discernment with regards to the situations and laws at that time.

Yes we must believe in God and not lean to our own understanding but we must also be practical!

However, older women past their children bearing year can indeed preach and even pastor if necessary, when there is no qualified male to lead.
