EV Now mode can only operate when the batteries are sufficiently charged. If there is not enough electrical power, the system will revert to EV Auto and the EcoBoost engine range extender may engage to recharge the battery. So please bear this in mind when you enter a low emission zone and keep an eye on your battery state of charge.

This is great. It can also be used to ensure that you do not leave approved areas, and the government can also use it to enforce ""No Driving" Times, such as on Earth Day, or any other time the government thinks it's not appropriate to drive.
