Probably the most emotionally raw movie I've ever seen. Makes me appreciate my mom in a whole new way.

I went in not knowing a thing about this movie, so before Ma told Jack about her being abducted, I actually thought it was a post apocalyptic movie.

I've seen it 3 times hahahah it's one of my favourite movies. Something I din't realize until I watched it for the second time is that it has an amazing soundtrack, so I recomend you to watch it again or look for the soundtrack on youtube because it is so good. Nice review anyway!!

I also loved it for all the reason you mention, the psychology, the camera work, the acting and the emotions, aaaand when I just ended to watch it I wanted to see it again, because is true that is a sad or depressing movie, but I also think is very beautiful, an appreciation of life and love, specially from the Jack's perspective, and also I wanted to analyze more the realistic psychology of the character, the grandfather, etc. It was just a beautiful, heartbreaking and interesting movie.

Unfortunately, I did watch the trailer in someone's reaction video and it does give away the reason why they're in that room. So if anyone is interested in this film, your best bet is to lay off that trailer.

i've watched this movie twice and can confirm it is rewatchable and is just as moving and hard hitting as the first time, if not more because i can focus on certain parts more and take it in better, also i feel that the trailer didnt exactly spoil anything really because the story isnt about getting out, its more about jack the little boy adjusting to real life on the outside and him exploring it for the first time (the scenes from the inside of room i feel are more for comparison to get the viewer to understand his point of view on the world)

FINALLY!! A review for "Room".
I feel like everyone is skipping the movie, which is a shame considering how good (or at least in my opinion) it is.

I just watched Room on Netflix because I knew it was an A24-film and that it had gotten great reviews.
I didn't even read the description of the movie, so I didn't even know the premise of the movie. Even though you start realizing why it is called Room in just a few minutes, I had no idea what was going to happen.
And I was actually surprised that I never head or read about the plot. That's unfortunately very rare.

Saw it. It was okay. Maybe above average. But nothing special. Might watch it again but have no plans to ever do so. Brooklyn was much, much better.

I finally saw this movie, kept in my toes, I haven't read the book, did not know the outcome, and being an indie film don't know what to expect with the ending, the only thing that I can say without spoiling nothing, is that like you a find myself sobbing and thinking about my life, and value what I have.

I wish there’s a caption of what happened to that kidnapper or a courtroom scene where the family along Joy testifies getting him locked in prison forever. What happened to that Nick kidnaper?

I think I will place it as #1 in my favorite film of 2015. Still debating between this and Stanford Prison Experiment.
