If you’re playing purely on stats, not accounting for what characters you like, then Bowser Jr. is the worst in the game. Birdo has the exact same stat bonuses as him, plus an additional 3 weight and 2 mini turbo, so if you only care about stats, there’s no reason to ever play Jr.
