She should put a complaint with cvs management and check their cameras

CVS has released photo of said dasher delivering the order and apologized. Apology is not enough.
Any Lawyers out there willing to do pro bono. All three CVS's thieving manager, CVS and Doordash should be sued. Criminal charges should be brought against the thieving manager.

If the Driver gets deactivated even after there was proof she made the Delivery, then the customer needs to be deactivated and ban from ordering food off of DoorDash for good. That’s the same as dining at a restaurant, then walking out without paying the bill. It’s wrong.

She should sue door dash for not investigating further, your using your car and gas, insurance that’s bullshit. They should investigate better and they should keep drivers safer. That’s a grip to take up with FTC and Transportation, probably need a big walk out.

The driver who got deactivated should excercise her arbitration rights with DoorDash and sue the Manager at CVS for loss wages. I the meantime just move on to another platform. Ask their Creator for vindication and vindication will be given. So let it be, so let it be, so let it be.

It's as simple as that.
They will steal anything no matter how small.
It's so sad that this girl had to defend her delivery job because of that low life bottom feeder manager.
I've experienced first hand customers being bastards like this. And serious mega shame on door dash for not backing up their worker and leaving her hanging out to dry like that.
I think I personally will not use door dash because of this.

Honestly I do DoorDash Grubhub, instacart and a little postmates! But it’s so BS! How most these apps always always takes the customer side! I always take pics even if they request “hand to customer” cuz I don’t trust these customers lying. I’ve had a situation earlier this year but luckily the picture backed me up!

the solution from doordash is pretty simple. Have the customer click an accept button before they are handed their food. (this button allows the driver to see). OR have the customer sign for their food.

As far as the dasher- making a scene in the store was unlikely to do anything to resolve this issue (other than emberessing the cvs manager and cvs as a company). The driver probably should have contacted CVS and asked if they can confirm she went in the store with the without accusing anyone of anything. Maybe just say her GPS told her company differently

Pete I think u know , that its dangerous to confront a customer. What she did was harrassment. All she had to do is send the film of her giving her the food .that's why dd fired her

CVS lady knows she was in the wrong you could tell by her voice and how she was acting but there are DoorDash driver do steal food I had a driver steal my or part of my food he confronted me and I show him what I got and DoorDash track him and found out he took it home before heading to my house

I have to say I dont agree with the customer doing that, but that being said. It's not her job to confront/publicly shame her on behalf of doordash. It's also a safety issue, what if the customer attacked that lady. I think doordash firing her was the right choice.
