FAQ
-Will this work in Bedrock Edition?
No, Java and Bedrock are so astronomically different, that I doubt it'll ever work.

-You go so fast at the Redstone build steps. Why?
That is unfortunate, yes, since I didn't design the farm, committing the entire thing to memory was difficult, and during recording I was slowly forgetting the build.

-What's that client you use for freecam?

-Why not use litematica for build materials?
Since a lot of the mods I use are used with ProtoTech in mind, I don't have litematica, as it's not allowed on the server. Plus, I'm not well versed in it anyways. There's a material list in the comments by someone, I had to unpin it to pin this.

-Will putting more Piglins in the trading hole make the farm go faster?
Short answer, no. One piglin can barter more than the gold ingots the farm produces. You wouldn't see a difference in loot. I've tried myself.

-Why do the piglins spawn so slow?
All the people I've seen with this problem play in multiplayer. As other players enter the nether, they hold up the mobcap, since Piglins spawn on the netherack around them. Just ask people to not go in the nether while you're using the farm.

It took me 3 hours to follow this tutorial and actually build it correctly, but man it was worth it.

Built this on survival and here’s my tips:

- Get Frost Walker on some boots. I didn’t realize until someone told me over halfway through the magma layer 1 frost walker enchanted boots prevent burn. Prior to that I was sing scaffolding or literally just walking on the outermost edge to avoid burn damage.

- Bring a full shulker of Scaffolding, you’ll thank yourself later so you don’t have to climb or fly down with an elytra to try to scavenge up pieces you dropped over time xD

Finally found a tutorial on this farm! Thank you for making this! 2 suggestions for future builds though.
1: I know you addressed the speed in the notes above but if you’re forgetting part of the build, pausing, referencing the original, and cutting out the dead time is perfectly acceptable. It might seem a little choppy to you, but us viewers will greatly appreciate it.
2: please back out more often so we can see what you’re doing. I got to the sticky piston before realizing I was doing the red stone part backwards because of speed and being too close to see where everything else was in reference to where I was.
Currently at the point where you add the piglin trader. Not so easy in survival.

Really recommend slowing down for the audience! You jumped around pretty quickly and while I greatly appreciate the tutorial, was definitely finding myself rewinding 3-4 times in some spots to catch what exactly you were doing. Not trying to be mean/aggressive in any way, just some feedback! Look forward to seeing more content! :)

be ware... there is a spawning change, do this farm on nether waste or crimson forest, since in any other biome, the piglins WONT SPAWN in basalt, only magma cubes spawn, in soulsand valleys only skellys and ghasts spawn

would definitely be more helpful if you were building it with a survival point of view in mind. nobody is going to build this in creative, so its hard to follow along when we can't fly around. it was the most obvious when you made a point of breaking and placing blocks much faster than would be possible in survival...

Tip: You can use frost walker boots to not take damage on magma, or if you don't have them you can use fire resistance potions.

Make sure before you build this that you are in a *NETHER WASTES* biome, it's incredibly important. My tip to you is to spawnproof first, build the second magma layer, and then finally the first magma layer. This will prevent ghasts from spawing and killing you.

If your Piglin isn't picking up the gold swords, check if you turned off mobGriefing. It won't pick up the gold ingots either and there will be no bartering.
