Father speaks about son surviving Brightline train crash

A 1-year-old boy was in the car with his grandmother when it was struck by a train Monday morning in Pompano Beach. Miraculously, they survived.

Only God know the day and the hour. It was not the baby's time to die. I am not trying to hurt anyone feelings. This message to dad. The grandma is what 70s age group. Your baby should not drive with her anymore. You just like millions saw she could not get off track. No more baby in car when grandma drive.

This crossing is supposed to have quad gates because it's a quiet zone and trains can't blow their horns. That means all roadways are blocked when the gates go down and nobody could turn onto the tracks unless they actually knocked down the gates first. Did she have to knock down the gates to get onto the tracks?

Thank God, but why would you think it's safe to make a U-turn on the tracks.. Florida need to make a law for the elderly
