Interesting thing is, so many people care about crystal and AR coating which is quite hard to recognize in naked eye, but very less people care about stupid unit conversion '600ft=200m'. It should be '660ft=200m'.

Great review! I just got the black w/bracelet version off AliExpress and it looks like Baltany has taken some of the community feedback on this watch into consideration. The links on the 2025 model are now completely brushed instead of the polished middle links, and the clasp has "BALTANY" engraved into it with the same text as what's on the face of the watch. There's still no logo on the crown (hopefully they add the fancy "B" that they have on some of their branding to their crowns at some point). Very classy regardless.

Great review as usual. I own a few homages from some various AE brands. But I've always stayed away from all of the diver models which features mercedes or snowflake hands. Always felt a bit too blatant to me, and that if I got a typical submariner/bb homage I'd change the hands.

This one however might've change my mind. It looks great over all, and I might'd even kept the hands lol. Including VAT in my country it's close to $300 though. A slight steep for me (especially considering all the watches in my cart for the upcoming sale lol). Anyhows, keep up the good work.

What a bonny watch, very nice, it gets a thumbs up from me.I will keep my eye on the price.I commented on your 38mm Cadisen C8207 diver style review, I said the price sometimes rises after favourable reviews. I hung in there and waited a while, today I took delivery of the C8207 with white dial and black silicon strap. The good news - I paid £42 ($51) !! amazing.
It is absolutely perfect especially the bezel mechanism, a beautiful feel to the tight ratchet. I appreciate your honest down to earth reviews, not at all pretentious or snobby

Case profile is excellent. Wish it had drilled lugs and accurate 660/200. Got a love the use of zerograph hands!

Excellent channel and reviews on ‘ Shiny things ‘ the watch looks quite good but as you know well by now I would appreciate a good brush case sides finish not the polished case sides.. The thickness toned down to a 12.8 mm would possibly make it much more appealing and likely increasing the wrist comfort wearability.

Firstly thanks for a great channel, keep up the good work 👏 I owned a tudor sub in blue for 20 years, and recognised the similar elements of this piece as soonasIsawit, I've got to say they have smashed it with this one, but I agree they should brand the crown and clasp, it just looks to sterile as is.

I like the fact that Baltany makes the hands slightly over-sized. It looks like the minute hand is chopping down on the hour indexes. The AR coating seems good and the lume is amazing. I am not sure about the shinny center links though. I would much rather have it brushed

I have the blue one. Really nice looking watch. Hot mine on the leather strap which is a bit naff so swapped out for a darker pull up leather one and it looks ten times better

This watch seems to offer classic good looks at a very nice price I don't even mind the polished mid-links. I think they go with the retro vibe. I also like the unbranded clasp - its calling out for engraving. This would be a nice warch for celebrating a special event. Also, I appreciate the attention to detail in using the NH38 for a no date watch
