Dr. Shawn Keller Lecturing on Digital Dentistry

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lecture on two subjects I am passionate about: (1) My transition from analog to digital dentistry for full arch restorations, and (2) Zygoma implants. There are many reasons to transition to the digital world in dentistry, and have made the transition and evolved right along with the technology. I feel I have some unique perspectives to share.  I have nearly 20 years of experience with a complete digital workflow - from being an early user of some of the first single tooth digital systems such as CEREC to using the Trios Scanner and the PIC dental camera for full arch immediate load digital workflows. From same-day bonded porcelain restorations to 24-hour milled PMMA and titanium restorations, the journey has been exhilarating - as improvements are constantly made to techniques and equipment. I have had many valuable mentors in my life  - to whom I owe everything. The "bouquet” of my current workflow has roses from each of them - while it is my unique ribbon that binds them. It is my desire to impart what I have learned to others. But no matter how much I think I know,  I still always learn from them in the process. I am always open to new ideas and techniques,  for we can never rest on yesterday’s accomplishments. I look forward to trading ideas with all of you as our attempts to give back some of what we have learned to intensify with the opening of our new Smile Design center in Kirkland next year.
