I still remember the first day I saw this. I was, and still, shocked. This is just a play that can't be repeated, ever.

Everything about this is iconic: the outplay, the look on Ryu's face, Doa's call of the action, and the SKT victory. We might see a better play, but nothing will top all those things combined.

As a DOTA player, I never really understood just how insanely intricate that play was until I watched this. I have newfound respect for the skill levels of League pro's

And since that day Ryu has been tilted beyond belief.

If you watch the full clip and look at the minimap, you can see Faker killing himself on the tower a few seconds after.

I still get goosebumps everytime I watch that. No matter how many times I've seen it.

He didn't throw a shadow upwards at 4:05, that's what Zed's ult did back then, you ult someone and it places a shadow behind them. Ryu had used his W earlier when initiating.

This outplay was the main reason why Riot nerfed QSS ability to cleanse ults damage.

Skt judgement day. Doa and montecristo (rotations). Hype intros (they still do it but not as good as hot6 days). It felt like yesterday but so many years and seasons already passed. Man, those were the good old days.

This outplay is the best outplay in LoL history by far. You can see Faker's mind how machenism well. He Is the Devıl.

They messed up in the analysis.

Ryu didn't misplace his w shadow. Pre rework zed ult used to leave a shadow behind the opponent, not where you ulted from

And the fact that he literally just used it to do the weq combo and they missed that is astounding
